Well, it was just a normal, boring day here at the Intercontinental School of Magic. Though there was so much to do, most people were too lazy to do anything, especially on the Weekends. Which is what today was the start of.. it was Friday, and people were lazier than ever. Putting off doing their homework, groaning and complaining about having to do the schoolwork and asking WHY they had homework on a FRIDAY! Most Teachers just looked at them, giving them a glare, and simply said.. "Because." Not like that was a clear answer, but it shut most students up, because they did not want to upset the Teachers and get a detention or something.
But now, it was the end of a tiring Friday, and one students was out in Rominel Village. The student was Jayden Scott, and he sat in the homey little place of IMS Cafe`. Simple name, no? IMS was the School's initials.. the people who built this place must've been lazy at the time too, not being able to come up with something better than "IMS Cafe`", but it bothered none of the students. So why even bring up the subject?
Jayden was sitting in a booth. He had a plate in front of him, and upon it was placed a cup of tea. He was sitting his back to the window, holding a newspaper close to his face, his eyes behind the pair of Harry Potter-looking glasses he was doomed to wear. But alas, this he did not mind. His eyes went across one page in a lickety-split second. Yes, he could read that fast! He was also getting rather bored with the damned newspaper, and wished for something amusing to just pop out of nowhere.

Jolie le Crosse de Luc wandered into Rominel Villiage with her i-pod in her ears. She was listening to her favorite Muggle Band-The Beatles. True, they were from the sixties, but the sixties were cool. She mouthed the words to her favorite song, Let it Be. The whole song was in English, but she knew English well. Jolie was a French Girl who was born in Paris, but she knew many different languages. She turned into the IMS cafe and sighed, looking for an open booth.
Jolie smiled as she saw someone reading a newspaper. It was none other than her friend and latest crush, Jayden Scott. They became friends when they were at Beauxbatons a few years ago. He was two years older, but only in the year above. She smiled and walked over to the booth, pausing her I-pod and sitting down without saying a word. She wanted to see his face when he put the paper down and saw Jolie's face. She liked scaring him sometimes. She admitted it, it was fun.
Pulling her hair out of her face, Jolie waited to see his reaction. She smiled a little. This was going to be fun.
{sorry it's so short...}

It took Jayden a while to notice that someone else was in his presence. He raised an eyebrow, and lowered his newspaper. That's when he saw the familiar face of his good friend, Jolie. He smiled softly and he folded the newspaper, setting it down on the table. He reached for his tea and he took a sip, then he set the cup back on the plate. He then looked back at Jolie, and he furrowed his eyebrows.
"I thought someone was sitting in my booth. Hey there Jolie, what hae you been up to lately?"
{gah! shortness! it will get longer, i promise.}

Jolie shrugged. "Not much. Just... reading and trying to get kids in trouble." She said in her French accent. She was, of course, reffering to her Prefect duties. She smiled and nodded. "What about you, Jayden?" She asked. She smiled... she loved her accent. It was one of the more unique ones in the school. She liked being unique. She had a unique name as well. Jolie meant pretty in French and it fitted well. She liked when the boys would notice and use the most played out, cliche' pickup line.
'Your mother named you well. I just set my eyes on the most jolie girl ever. They thought it was cute. She thought it was stupid. What if her name was Ophelia? What if her name was till Jolie, but she wasn't so pretty. She smirked to herself as she thought of that. She looked back up at Jayden.
"How are your head boy duties?" She asked, smiling.

Jayden laughed at that statement. Trying to get kids in trouble.. that sounded like Jolie. Using her Prefect powers for evil, and not good. He was glad Jolie had came, because she certainly wasn't boring. He shifted himself, sitting up in the booth, and he eyed Jolie carefully. Her French accent is what Jayden noticed the most about her, because he, too, had that accent. They were both from France, that was why. And Jayden also knew that Jolie meant "pretty" in French. That was one of the reasons he liked her name.. the other was because it suited her very well.
"Ahh, getting little kids into trouble. That sounds like you, abusing your Prefect Duties."
He smirked, and shifted an eyebrow up. He scratched his head, and he shrugged as she asked how his Head Boy duties were going..
"They're going.. good as always. Nothing special really."

Jolie smiled. Jayden always saw right through her. And her Prefect intentions. She smiled. Jayden was head boy, but that didn't mean much. Even if he was a teacher, he would still be Jayden, her best friend and current love interest. She laughed a little.
"You know me, Jayden." She said. "That's how I am." She giggled again and smiled. She shook her head. "Well, then. If they're nothing special then why are you head boy?" SHe asked, teasing him. Jayden was one of the only people Jolie could open up to. With everyone else, she was as quiet as a church mouse. She smiled a little...
