The Aurors are an elite group of witches and wizards who battle the Dark Arts. They operate in some ways as soldiers but more often as intelligence agents, seeking out Dark wizards and defeating them, often in fierce wizard duels. It is a tough, and demanding line of work, but someone has to protect the wizarding world from those out to destroy it. Aurors have powers and skills that other witches and wizards only dream of, but this takes time and training that each and every Auror must put in. The really great Aurors may even go on to more extensive training to become Hit Witches or Wizards. The Department of Magical Law Enforcement maintains squads of trained Hit Wizards whose job it is to capture dangerous wizarding criminals. You think being an Auror was hard? Try being a Hit Wizard.
Now don’t get it wrong, it isn’t all work and no play…
The Alastor Moody Auror Training Facility (Or the Mad-Eye Facility as some call it) has been the leading training school for Aurors since the end of the second war, which was now over twenty years ago. This is the place where people from all over the world want to train, this is the place that produces the finest Aurors and Hit Witches and Wizards in the world. Only the best of the best are accepted. Not everyone makes it through this rough training, but if you do you are sure to be feared and respected.
The lives of these trainees are twisted and tangled, their training on top of being a young adult and having to deal with all the baggage that brings. Tensions run high, and there is sure to be drama.
